2017 was another huge year for Kenna Security, and as a company we experienced tremendous growth. Our team grew by more than double, to the point where we’ve moved to larger offices in both San Francisco and Chicago and opened a UK office to support our expansion into the EMEA market. This expansion of the Kenna Security family was driven by tremendous growth in our customer base, with our sales more than doubling for the third year in a row.

The growth is validation of Kenna Security’s risk-based approach to vulnerability management. In the current climate of cyber risk, organizations face tens of millions of vulnerabilities lurking on tens of thousands of assets across their enterprise, a number that is growing daily. It’s just not feasible to solve this problem with more staff and spreadsheets; they need to determine where the greatest dangers lie through risk-based prioritization and remediation.

The remarkable momentum we’ve seen as a company is further evidence of this growing trend we’ve observed among CISOs who look at risk management through the lens of an organization-wide approach that unites executives, Security Teams, Vulnerability Teams, and IT Operations Teams against cyber risk. As they say the proof is in the pudding, and in 2017 we were fortunate enough to:

○ Double our customer count to over 300 customers worldwide

○ Count 25 percent of the Fortune 20 and ten percent of the Fortune 500 firms as customers

I’m confident that 2018 will bring continued growth and success. We are thankful for the commitment of our customers to partner with us. It is their trust that has enabled consistent strong growth year-over-year, demonstrating that Kenna Security’s vision – to enable all teams within an organization to work collaboratively to reduce cyber risk – is resonating with businesses today.
