Kenna Security Pushes into Europe, The Middle East, and Africa

Trevor Crompton will lead the company’s channel strategy, recruiting new partners in the region

Kenna Security is expanding its footprint to cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa, recruiting ex-RiskIQ channel director Trevor Crompton to develop the company’s partner relationships in the region.

He’ll work alongside the company’s existing resellers, VARs and MSSPs, while also recruiting more partners in the target regions to build up Kenna’s presence in the market and drive revenues for the entire business, which includes its vulnerability and risk intelligence platform.

“Outside the US market, we’ve seen tremendous growth in demand for risk-based information security solutions that can manage the deluge of vulnerability alerts and challenges facing organisations today,” Karim Toubba, CEO at Kenna Security said.

During his 25 years in the security sector, both at RiskIQ and before that as EMEA sales director at Symantec where he helped build a $42 million services business, Crompton has been responsible for generating substantial revenues, with his exemplary leadership and sales skills.

Crompton now feels it’s time to take it to the next level and help Kenna Security expand its revenue stream from its US-based sales model.

“Kenna has developed strategic relationships with some of the top channel partners in the region to bring its innovative platform to EMEA-based organisations and Trevor’s extensive experience will help us expand those relationships to reach more organisations,” Toubba added.

It’s this final point that Kenna now wants to focus on, without losing its core US customer base.
