Obscure Technologies today announced its distribution agreement with Kenna Security, a leader in vulnerability and cyber risk management. This unique distribution partnership enables Obscure’s partners to give their customers access to advanced cyber risk context technology for determining and remediating cyber risks.
“The Kenna Security Platform brings a risk-based approach to vulnerability management by tracking and predicting real-world exploitations and helping security teams focus on what matters most,” said Trevor Crompton, head of EMEA Sales and Partnerships at Kenna Security. “We’re excited to work with South African businesses and organisations through our new relationship with Obscure.”
“Obscure Technologies brings a wealth of security expertise and regional business knowledge, which can help African customers to take advantage of the Kenna Solution,” continued Crompton. “Their commitment and high levels of energy will be invaluable as Kenna continues to grow across the continent. We chose Obscure Technologies because of their professional approach and trustworthiness and look forward to building business together.”
The Kenna Security Platform processes more than 10 billion vulnerabilities daily and within minutes delivers unparalleled visibility into which of its customers’ systems may have exposure to vulnerabilities. It does this, without tedious manual effort, through the Kenna Security platform’s ability to automate the correlation between a company’s internal assets and Kenna’s broad external intelligence. By utilising data driven science, the platform allows security engineers to simplify the management of vulnerabilities and risks associated with them. The results delivered by the Kenna platform are represented in a manner that is easy to understand for analysis, remediation and risk reporting.
“We at Obscure are excited to be working with Kenna Security. Their risk-based, data science-driven approach to vulnerability management is unique, fitting Obscure’s security portfolio on bespoke solutions. Not only does Kenna’s solution narrow the gap with filtering and reporting of risks that are most relevant in the sphere of an ever-growing risk matrix but also integrates with existing scan data like Rapid 7 and many more”, Justin Lee, Managing Director, Obscure.
